- In May 2022, Capstone Green Energy Corporation has partnered with Cal Microturbine to serve as its authorized distributor in California, Hawaii, Oregon, Washington, and Nevada. Furthermore, Capstone has successfully received orders for six C65 microturbine units to be deployed across various locations in California. These microturbines will be installed in the oil & gas, hospitality, and agriculture sectors. The commissioning of these systems is expected to take place in early 2030.
- In February 2022, Ansaldo Energia won a contract for 20 years to construct & maintain gas turbines at the power plant of Cairo, Egypt. The power plant is owned by the local company, Cairo Electricity Production, and comprises combined & open cycle phases. Each of its phases is supplied with four AE 94.2 aeroderivative gas turbines manufactured at the Ansaldo Energia site.
